The Set Collectors Couldn't Buy

Prismatic Evolutions broke modern Pokémon. Built around Eevee and its eight Evolutions as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, it sold out almost everywhere on release and has stayed difficult to source since.

The Eevee ex Promo

The headline piece is a special-illustration-rare-style Eevee ex promo, showing Eevee as a Stellar Tera Pokémon ready to evolve through its Rainbow DNA. The artwork originates from Japan's Terastal Festival ex set, illustrated as part of a tie-up with pâtissier Natsuko Shoji — the design is based on a real Eevee-inspired cake.

It's one of the more unusual promo cards Pokémon has produced, and it exists only in this collection.

Prismatic Evolutions runs to 180 cards, including 49 Special Illustration Rares. The set is home to the Umbreon ex Special Illustration Rare — one of the most valuable cards of the Scarlet & Violet era — alongside Sylveon ex, Espeon ex, Glaceon ex and Leafeon ex.

Two premium parallel treatments run through the set: Poké Ball and Master Ball pattern cards, etched into the background. Master Ball parallels are the scarcer of the two and carry serious secondary value. Roaring Moon ex, Dragapult ex, Ceruledge ex and Raging Bolt ex round out the competitive pulls.
