General questions
1. What is Bags of Swank?
A collector-run trading card and collectibles shop based in Ballymoney, Northern Ireland. We sell sealed TCG and sports card products, graded slabs, singles and collectibles, online and from our John Street shop.
2. Where are you based?
John St, Ballymoney BT53 6DS, United Kingdom — and online for collectors across the UK, Europe and worldwide.
3. How can I contact you?
Email sales@bagsofswank.co.uk or call +44 7853 14596342, Monday to Saturday, 9:00–17:30. We answer every message within one working day.
4. What do you sell?
TCG sealed product from Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and more (booster boxes, packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, tins); sports card hobby, blaster and mega boxes, cases, fat packs and factory sets; singles, autos and relics; graded cards from PSA, BGS, SGC and CGC; collectibles; and pre-orders.
5. Are your products authentic?
Yes. We source through official distributors and trusted suppliers, we never knowingly sell counterfeit product, and every slab we sell can be cert-verified with the grading company. Read our Authenticity Guarantee.
Ordering
6. How do I place an order?
Browse the shop, add items to your basket and check out securely. Guest checkout is available — no account required.
7. Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes, by email within minutes of checkout. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder, then give us a shout.
8. Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as quickly as you can. Because orders placed before 3pm dispatch the same day, the window is short — once a parcel has shipped, our returns process applies instead. Occasionally we must cancel an order ourselves (stock or pricing errors, payment checks); if so, you are refunded in full automatically.
Delivery
9. How much does UK delivery cost?
Nothing. Every UK order uses free standard UK delivery with no minimum spend — no minimum spend, no fine print.
10. When will my order be dispatched?
Orders placed before 3pm, Monday to Saturday, leave us the same day. Later orders, and orders placed on Sundays or bank holidays, ship the next working day.
11. How long does UK delivery take?
Typically 4–7 working days from dispatch. Highlands, islands and remote postcodes usually take 4–7 working days.
12. Do you ship internationally?
Yes — Europe and worldwide on tracked services, typically 5–10 working days. Any import duties or taxes charged by the destination country are the customer’s responsibility. Full details are on our Delivery Information page.
13. Do I get tracking?
Yes — every order ships tracked, and you receive the tracking number by email at dispatch. You can follow it any time on our Track Your Order page.
14. What if my parcel is lost or arrives damaged?
Contact us with your order number (and photos if it is damaged). We will investigate with the carrier and put things right — that is what tracked shipping is for.
Pre-orders
15. What is a pre-order?
A pre-order reserves an upcoming product before its official release. You pay at checkout, and we dispatch as soon as stock arrives after release day.
16. Are release dates guaranteed?
No. Dates come from manufacturers and distributors, and they do move. We keep product pages updated and email affected customers about significant delays.
17. What is an allocation?
Manufacturers and distributors sometimes supply retailers with fewer units than were ordered — that shortfall is an allocation cut. It is an industry reality, especially on hot releases.
18. What happens if your allocation is cut?
We fulfil orders in the order they were placed, and anyone we cannot supply receives a prompt full refund. No store-credit ambushes, no silent swaps.
Sealed product and cards
19. Can you guarantee specific cards or pulls inside sealed products?
No — and no honest shop can. Contents are randomised by the manufacturer: cards, parallels, autos, case hits, the lot.
20. Are your sealed products genuinely factory sealed?
Yes. Everything we sell as sealed is exactly as it left the manufacturer: unsearched, unweighed and never resealed, straight from sealed cases wherever the format allows. See our Sealed Product Policy.
21. Can sealed products contain manufacturing defects?
Occasionally, yes — print lines, off-centring and even a missing hit can happen at the factory. Those issues are outside our control, but where a manufacturer runs a replacement programme we will help you reach it.
22. Do you guarantee grades or future card values?
No. Grading companies make independent decisions, and card prices rise and fall. Buy what you love, not what a forum says will moon.
Returns and refunds
23. What is your returns policy?
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind returns window on eligible items — on top of your statutory 14-day cancellation rights. Items must be unused, unopened and in original condition. Full rules are on the Returns & Refunds page.
24. Can I return an opened box, pack or tin?
Not for change of mind — once the seals are broken, the contents cannot be verified. Faulty goods are different and are always covered by your Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights.
25. What if my item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund, and we cover the return postage for damaged, faulty or incorrect items.
26. How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are processed within 14 days, back to your original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take a few working days to show it.
Payments and security
27. What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable.
28. Is checkout secure? Do you store my card details?
Checkout is encrypted and handled by PCI DSS-compliant payment processors with 3-D Secure authentication. We never see or store your full card number. More detail is on our Payment & Security page.
