This policy applies to every factory-sealed product sold by Bags of Swank — TCG and sports cards alike. By purchasing sealed product from us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
What counts as sealed product
A sealed product is one that remains in its original manufacturer packaging and has not been opened, searched, weighed or tampered with by us or by anyone in our supply chain.
Sports card formats include:
- hobby boxes and hobby cases
- blaster boxes
- mega boxes
- value packs and fat packs
- hanger boxes
- factory sets
- special release products
TCG formats include:
- booster boxes and booster packs
- Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs)
- collector tins
- collection and gift boxes
- special and holiday sets
Our sealed promise
Every sealed product that leaves our shop is unsearched, unweighed and never resealed — exactly as it left the manufacturer or official distributor.
We are collectors first, and we know what a weighed pack or a resealed box does to this hobby. We want no part of it. Wherever the format allows, our sealed product comes straight out of sealed manufacturer cases, and the box you receive is the box the factory made.
Product contents
Contents are determined solely by the manufacturer. We do not control pack collation, card distribution, insert ratios, autograph or memorabilia distribution, case hits, numbered cards, chase-card placement or manufacturing quality. Unless the manufacturer states otherwise, contents are random.
No guaranteed pulls
Buying sealed product involves chance. We do not and cannot guarantee: specific cards or players, autographs, memorabilia or patch cards, case hits, numbered cards, rare inserts, short prints, chase cards, alternate arts, secret rares, or the value of anything pulled. Product odds and contents are set exclusively by the manufacturer.
Manufacturer quality control
All cards are produced and packaged at the factory. Occasionally, sealed products contain print lines, surface scratches, off-centring, edge or corner imperfections, missing hits, packaging flaws or other factory defects. These issues originate in manufacturing and are outside our control.
Missing hits and manufacturer defects
If a product is missing an advertised autograph, memorabilia card or other insert, the right route is the manufacturer — many run replacement programmes. We will happily point you to the right channel, but we cannot guarantee replacements for manufacturer-related issues.
Inspect on arrival
Sealed products are intended to remain sealed. Inspect yours when it arrives; if the packaging shows visible transit damage, photograph it before opening and contact us straight away.
Opened products
Opened sealed products cannot be returned for change of mind — this includes opened packs, boxes, cases, tins and ETBs, and any product with broken manufacturer seals. The rule protects the integrity of the hobby for everyone. Faulty goods remain fully covered by your Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights; see Returns & Refunds.
Packaging and artwork changes
Manufacturers change packaging design, artwork, product configuration and release details without notice. Those changes are not product defects, and the images on our site are illustrative.
Product allocations
Certain releases are allocated by manufacturers and distributors. Quantities may be limited, orders may be adjusted if allocations are cut, and availability is not guaranteed until fulfilment. Customers affected by allocation changes are contacted with options — including a full refund.
Pre-order sealed products
Many sealed products are offered on pre-order. Pre-order customers accept that release dates are estimates, manufacturers can delay, shipping timelines begin after stock arrives and is processed, and allocations can change. Please read our Pre-Order Policy for the complete picture.
Market value disclaimer
Card values fluctuate, sometimes sharply. We do not guarantee future value, investment performance, market appreciation or secondary-market pricing. Buy for the love of collecting, not as a financial plan.
Fair play
To keep things fair for everyone, we may verify orders, limit purchase quantities, cancel suspicious transactions and refuse orders that breach our policies.
Your part
Please read product descriptions and configurations, check the published odds, and ask us before buying whenever anything is unclear. Buying sealed product means accepting its randomness.
